Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gill Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracis closes the distance and clinches.
Gracis tries to land a knee to the head but Bill blocks with his arms.
Bill has Gracis pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gracis manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Bill jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gracis walks away with a smile on his face. Bill gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gracis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bill manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Gracis stands and steps away. Bill gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Gracis clinches up with Bill and pushes him back against the cage.

Bill lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracis circles away quickly and effectively.

This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bill has a takedown stuffed.
Gracis tries to close the distance and clinch but Bill swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Gracis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bill closes the distance and clinches.

It looks like Gill Bill has been cut.
Bill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gracis takes the fight into the clinch.
Bill is trying to push Gracis away but Gracis has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Bill gets control of Gracis's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bill will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Bill pushes Gracis off and gets back to his feet.
Gracis tries to clinch but Bill is having none of it.

Horrible takedown by Bill or perhaps it was just good defense by Gracis which made him look bad.

and Bill counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bill shoots in but Gracis avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Gracis shoots in looking for a takedown but Bill manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gracis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
A looping hook to the body misses from Bill. Gracis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bill misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bill moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Gracis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bill manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Gracis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bill tries to avoid it but Gracis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bill to the ground. Bill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bill takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Gracis shoots for a double leg takedown but Bill sprawls well. He's pushed Gracis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
