Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ledil Kuch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zirry Swan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuch comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Seger - Turn the Page. Swan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blame it on my ADD kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ledil Kuch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zirry Swan! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Kuch. Swan misses with an uppercut
and Kuch counters with a nice body shot. Kuch has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Swan. Kuch tries to score with a low kick but Swan moves his leg out of the way. Kuch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kuch fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Swan throws a leg kick which misses Kuch's front leg but catches the back leg as Kuch tries to avoid it. Swan throws a chopping leg kick but Kuch manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kuch avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kuch gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kuch avoiding damage as Swan throws knees to the body.

Swan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kuch is defending well for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kuch jumps guard but Swan turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Swan tries to throw a body punch but Kuch avoids it by throwing Swan back against the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
That's one minute gone in the round. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Kuch for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Swan lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Ledil Kuch has been cut. Kuch takes a knee right on the jaw!

Kuch lands a shot to the body. Swan looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kuch is stalling here.
Kuch lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A head punch on the inside from Kuch fails to land. Swan connects with a knee to the head.
Kuch is trying to pull guard but Swan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Kuch tries to pull guard but Swan won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ledil Kuch. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kuch lands a body punch in the clinch. A nice left hand lands by Kuch.
A short right from Kuch. Swan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kuch is defending well for now. Swan misses with a knee to the head. Swan prevents a body shot from Kuch. Swan blocks a body shot from Kuch. A left hand lands to the body for Kuch.

Kuch lands a body punch in the clinch. A right handed body shot lands from Kuch.
Kuch manages to pull guard.
Kuch manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Swan manages to get himself to full guard.
Kuch working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Swan's head. Kuch advances to half guard. Swan trying to control from the bottom.
Kuch thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kuch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kuch is trying to control the action in half guard but Swan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kuch missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuch throwing shots but Swan is blocking nicely. Kuch takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kuch missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kuch lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Swan is looking for a sweep. Kuch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kuch working the head and body with strikes. Kuch wants to control but Swan is keeping him busy. Kuch is taking a breather. Swan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kuch is trying to control the action in half guard but Swan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kuch thows a huge punch but Swan dodges it nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kuch is trying to control. Swan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kuch is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Swan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ledil Kuch. Swan checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. A slapping leg kick lands for Kuch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ledil Kuch dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ledil Kuch's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Swan throws a jab but it's blocked by Kuch. Swan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kuch's head backwards. Kuch instigates a clinch. A short right from Kuch on the inside. Kuch lands a right hand that snaps the head of Swan backwards. Swan tries a knee to the head but Kuch blocks it.

Kuch lands a body punch in the clinch. Kuch swings wildly with an uppercut but Swan uses good head movement to avoid it. Kuch lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Swan is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Swan throws a knee to the head but misses.
Swan is breathing heavily. Kuch tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Kuch. Swan is still on wobbly legs! Can Kuch finish him? Come on Kuch - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Swan seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuch is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Swan to keep the fight standing. Kuch pulls guard. Swan trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kuch's guard. Kuch throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Swan trying to control but Kuch is working from the bottom. Swan stopping the sweep attempt from Kuch. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Swan wants to control from the top but Kuch keeps moving. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kuch has control of Swan's left arm, preventing Swan from doing any damage. Ledil Kuch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Zirry Swan wasn't active enough on the ground. Swan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kuch moves away. Kuch scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kuch misses with a straight left. Swan tries a low kick but Kuch avoids it. Swan tries to clinch but Kuch is having none of it. Kuch lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

The fighters circling - Kuch throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kuch takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kuch moves away from the strike by Swan. Kuch fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Good standup being displayed there by Kuch as he connects with a hook. Kuch wants to slow Swan down by chopping away at his legs. Swan blocks a head kick by Kuch.
Ledil Kuch is winning the standup battle so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Swan misses with an uppercut. Kuch getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Kuch misses with the combination.
Kuch misses with a few strikes there.
Swan throws a hook but Kuch blocks it. Kuch connects with a leg kick. Swan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kuch lands with a shot to the body. A bone on bone clash there as Swan blocks the leg kick.
Swan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Kuch has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Swan misses with a jab to the body
and Swan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Swan throws a half hearted mid kick. Swan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kuch swings for the body but Swan moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuch misses with a wild body shot. Kuch darts in and clinches Swan up against the cage. Swan misses with a knee strike.
This has been an exciting period of action! Swan misses with a knee to the head. Kuch lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A short left from Kuch. Kuch misses with a body punch.
Kuch misses with a hook from the clinch. Kuch lands a right hand that snaps the head of Swan backwards. Swan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kuch is defending well for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kuch swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kuch tries to pull guard but Swan forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Nice body punch from Kuch - that landed with a thud.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ledil Kuch dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ledil Kuch's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Kuch getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Swan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kuch rushes Swan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kuch gets through Swan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kuch jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Swan walks away with a smile on his face. Kuch gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Swan thows a left - swing and a miss! Kuch misses with an uppercut. Kuch explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Kuch uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Swan has time to react. Swan looking to land some kicks to the body here.
and Kuch counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Swan! He's just covering up as Kuch starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
