Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Alexio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexio comes into the arena with DevilDriver - End of the Line blaring out of the sound system. Kelly has chosen Black Belt Jones Theme Song, you Jive Turkey! as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly avoids the body shot from Alexio.
Kelly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kelly gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kelly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kelly checks the leg kick.
Kelly tries to bum rush Alexio with a series of wild strikes but Alexio uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kelly defending well as Alexio loads up on a big left hand.
Alexio keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kelly throws a low kick but Alexio moves out of range easily.
Alexio throws a sloppy body shot
and Kelly counters with a nice kick to the body.
Alexio throws a leg kick that is checked
and Kelly counters with an outside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kelly thuds his shin into the meat of Alexio's side.
Alexio is breathing heavily.
Alexio waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kelly.
Alexio misses with a few strikes there.
Alexio throws an overhand right that lands on Kelly's shoulder, as Kelly tries to avoid the shot.
Alexio throws a sloppy head kick and Kelly moves out of range easily.
A big right from Alexio misses.

Alexio attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A nice combination there by Kelly.

It looks like Dennis Alexio has been cut.
Kelly scores with a kick to the midsection.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alexio avoids the head kick by Kelly.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kelly.
Kelly dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Alexio. That did some damage!

Kelly has taken the fight to the clinch.

A slapping leg kick lands for Kelly.
Oh Alexio is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alexio takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kelly works Alexio's body with a nice hook.
Alexio seems to have got his legs back now.
Kelly walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Alexio drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Kelly swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Alexio's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
