Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Gunner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pal Secam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Secam has chosen System Of A Down - Chop Suey! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas Gunner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pal Secam! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Secam dives in and grabs Gunner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gunner pushes down on Secam's head and hops out. Gunner connects with a leg kick. Secam looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Gunner throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Secam checks a leg kick. Secam fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A momentary lapse in concentration from Gunner enables Secam to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gunner manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Secam drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Secam jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Secam showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Secam trying to control but Gunner is working from the bottom. Secam looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Secam forces his way into half guard. Secam is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gunner doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Secam.
That's one minute gone in the round. Secam is trying to work for a kimura but Gunner is defending well.

Gunner wants to control but Secam is keeping busy.
Gunner wants to get back to full guard. Secam missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Secam is looking to take a break and control but Gunner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Secam is nestled in close to Gunner, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Secam is trying to control. Gunner wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gunner looking for submissions off his back. Secam seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gunner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Gunner is looking to improve his position.
Secam wants to take a breather but Gunner is having none of it. Secam with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Pal Secam hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Secam moves out of range as Gunner strikes. Secam shoots in looking for a takedown but Gunner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Secam's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Thomas Gunner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pal Secam. Gunner buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Secam closes the distance and clinches up with Gunner, looking for a takedown. Secam pushes Gunner against the ropes but Gunner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gunner thumps Secam with a low kick. Gunner connects with a solid leg kick. Secam misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A jab from Gunner does it's job there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunner tries a low kick but Secam avoids it. A head kick misses from Gunner. Secam shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gunner but Gunner pushes him off and we're back to square one. Secam takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Pal Secam has been cut. Gunner throws a head kick but Secam moves out of range.
Secam shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gunner's guard. Gunner trying to control the position.
Secam trying to control the position from guard on top but Gunner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Secam scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gunner trying to control the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Thomas Gunner has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Gunner misses with a straight right. Secam fails to land the takedown. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Secam throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gunner was covering up waiting for the punch and Secam finishes the takedown easily into guard. Secam trying to control the position from guard on top but Gunner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gunner trying to keep a closed guard but Secam is proving a slippery customer.
Secam wants to control from the top but Gunner keeps moving. Secam slips nicely into half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gunner regains full guard. Nicely done. Secam showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Gunner looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pal Secam dominated that round. The cut man is working on Pal Secam's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Secam scores a takedown into full mount! Gunner tries to lock up and control but Secam gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Secam. Secam can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gunner is looking to escape. Secam landing strikes from the mount. Gunner can't escape the position.
Secam is landing with some decent strikes but Gunner is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Gunner really wants to buck Secam off and get back to his feet. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Secam. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Gunner wants to control but Secam is having none of it. Secam trying to control but Gunner is having none of it. Secam working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Gunner looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Secam! Submission of the night perhaps?
