Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vince McMahon!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitrione misses with a two punch combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - McMahon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mitrione throws a head kick but McMahon moves out of range.

Mitrione throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Vince McMahon has been cut.
McMahon with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mitrione counters with a one-two to the body.
Mitrione lands a left and a right that sends McMahon crashing to the canvas! Mitrione dives into mount looking to finish!
McMahon is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

McMahon keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Mitrione stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
McMahon misses with a head kick.
Vince McMahon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McMahon lands with a thumping leg kick.
McMahon has his takedown stuffed
and Mitrione counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple McMahon!
McMahon looks gassed!
Mitrione postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for McMahon to stand up.

McMahon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mitrione misses with a kick to the body
and McMahon counters with a right hand to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mitrione connects with a leg kick. McMahon looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mitrione cracks McMahon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That has opened up Vince McMahon's cut even more.
McMahon gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Mitrione gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! McMahon is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Mitrione!
