Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sauli Heilimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McErlane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Sauli Heilimo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sauli Heilimo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heilimo looks for a takedown but McErlane sprawls well.
Heilimo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
McErlane wants to control but Heilimo is keeping busy.
McErlane is trying to stand up here but Heilimo is controlling him well.
McErlane wants to control but Heilimo passes into side.

Heilimo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for McErlane!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McErlane breaks Heilimo's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Heilimo wants to sweep but no luck.
Heilimo is breathing heavily.
Heilimo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Heilimo controlling the position.
McErlane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Heilimo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Heilimo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Heilimo throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! McErlane escapes and throws Heilimo's legs to the side, diving into side control!
McErlane looks up at the clock and then as Heilimo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McErlane smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Heilimo is trying to get back to half guard.
McErlane tries to advance to mount but Heilimo denies him.
Heilimo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Heilimo is pressing down on McErlane's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Heilimo is looking for a triangle but McErlane pushes his legs off easily.
Heilimo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Heilimo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Heilimo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McErlane can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Heilimo looking for submissions from the bottom but instead McErlane passes into side control.
Heilimo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, McErlane asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Heilimo is trying to control McErlane's posture but McErlane avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Heilimo manages to get back to half guard.
McErlane is working for a submission of some sort.
Heilimo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
McErlane tries to pass the half guard into mount. Heilimo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
McErlane decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
McErlane shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than McErlane was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
McErlane closes this distance looking for a takedown but Heilimo circles away.
Heilimo misses with a takedown attempt
and McErlane counters with a nice double leg into side control. Heilimo won't be happy with that.
McErlane tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McErlane has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
McErlane decides to stand back up.
Heilimo doesn't manage to clinch there - McErlane circles away.
Heilimo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McErlane moves into the clinch.
McErlane wants a takedown.
McErlane manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
McErlane not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Heilimo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McErlane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Heilimo misses with a head shot. McErlane uses the momentum to regain guard.
Heilimo takes a decent strike to the side of the head.

McErlane has one foot on Heilimo's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
McErlane lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Sauli Heilimo has been cut.

McErlane lands a hook that stumbles Heilimo back into the cage. McErlane follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Heilimo to the canvas! McErlane pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Heilimo has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
