Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephen McMurtry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalervo Paukku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paukku looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
McMurtry throws a right and a left that both miss.

McMurtry throws a series of punches but Paukku avoids them all with ease.

That was a close round but I would say that Stephen McMurtry will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Paukku throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McMurtry's waist but McMurtry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Paukku off to one side.
McMurtry scores with a one two! Paukku had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Paukku is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
