Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between JP Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hye Kye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romero comes into the arena with The Stooges- The Passenger blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero walks into a straight right hand from Kye.

Romero closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kye quickly recovers to half guard.

Romero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that JP Romero will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Romero stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kye.

Romero clinches up with Kye and pushes him back against the cage.
Romero has Kye pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kye manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
