Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pea Okami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuula Kallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pea Okami is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pea Okami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kuula Kallo!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Okami.
Okami with a poor takedown
and Kallo counters with a three punch combo that has Okami backing up. Okami nods at Kallo to acknowledge the strikes.
Kallo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Okami. That did some damage!
Kallo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kallo wants it to stay on the feet.
Kallo pushes Okami up against the cage in a clinch.
Okami is trying to force a seperation but Kallo has the dominant position.
Okami throws a head punch that misses.
Kallo breaks from the clinch.
Kallo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kallo shoots in and drives through. Okami sprawls well.
A thudding body kick lands there by Kallo!
Kallo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kallo takes the fight into the clinch.
Okami tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Kallo pulls Okami in close to prevent any damage.

Kallo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kallo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Okami won't allow Kallo to get back to his feet.

Kallo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Okami. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Pea Okami just wasn't active enough.
Kallo lands a nice hook to Okami's body. Okami takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kallo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Okami drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kallo pulls his leg out and moves away.

Okami doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kallo connects with the punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kallo lands a nice elbow.

Kallo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Okami or not.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Kallo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Okami just stands there and leans against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Okami tries to clinch but Kallo is having none of it.

Kallo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Okami postures up and lands a big shot to Kallo's brow.
Kallo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

We're going to have a standup here because Pea Okami wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Okami closes the distance and clinches up with Kallo, looking for a takedown. Okami pushes Kallo against the cage but Kallo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Okami slaps away a takedown attempt from Kallo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kuula Kallo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kallo swats away the attempt to clinch by Okami.
Okami takes a kick to the side of the head.
Kallo instigates a clinch.
Kallo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Okami stands up over Kallo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Okami manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kallo manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Okami wants to control from the top but Kallo keeps moving.
Kallo wants to stand but Okami is controlling the position.
Okami gets to his feet. Kallo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Kallo throws a sloppy head kick and Okami moves out of range easily.

Kallo has closed the distance and engaged Okami in a clinch.
Kallo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Kallo shoots in for a takedown but Okami shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Okami tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Okami jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kallo walks away with a smile on his face. Okami gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kallo lands an elbow that stopped Okami in his tracks for a moment.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kallo lands an elbow inside that Okami shrugs off.
It looks like Pea Okami has been cut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Okami.
Kallo works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Kallo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Okami's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Okami's back!

Okami rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kallo wants to take a breather but Okami is having none of it.
Kallo winds up and cracks Okami with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Okami is refusing to be controlled, as Kallo sits in half guard.
Okami is trying to stand back up but Kallo is controlling him
Pea Okami has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Kallo is looking for a kimura but Okami is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kallo to get the leverage.
Okami is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kallo is looking to take a break and control but Okami is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Okami tries to roll over but Kallo keeps him under control.
Kallo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Okami is just riding it out for now. Kallo eventually gives up the hold.
Kuula Kallo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Kallo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kuula Kallo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kallo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
