Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xhun Kawozinazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xhun Kawozinazaki looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Xhun Kawozinazaki! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kawozinazaki showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hawk.
Hawk thows a left - swing and a miss! Hawk lands a glancing blow to the side of Kawozinazaki's head.
It looks like Xhun Kawozinazaki has been cut. Mike Hawk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hawk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kawozinazaki shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hawk napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawk gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Kawozinazaki looking to control and managing it successfully. Hawk keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kawozinazaki avoids the attempt from Hawk to control. Kawozinazaki working for a submission but Hawk is keeping him at bay.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kawozinazaki trying to control but Hawk is having none of it. Hawk trying desperately to get to his feet.
Hawk is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hawk tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk tries to improve his position but instead Kawozinazaki has taken his back! Hawk breaks Kawozinazaki's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hawk controlling the pace. Kawozinazaki makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Kawozinazaki looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kawozinazaki gets the takedown into side control. Kawozinazaki is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hawk has escaped the position, nice work there. Hawk is looking for a sweep. Hawk regains half guard. Kawozinazaki is thwarting Hawk's attempts to control the position. Hawk pushes Kawozinazaki off looking to stand but Kawozinazaki dives back in and keeps control.
Hawk moves into full guard.
Hawk is looking for a triangle but Kawozinazaki pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk controlling the position. Hawk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kawozinazaki is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hawk manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kawozinazaki manages to get himself to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hawk avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Hawk dominated that round. The cut man is working on Xhun Kawozinazaki's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hawk will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hawk lands a high kick!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hawk is defended easily by Kawozinazaki. Kawozinazaki shoots in but Hawk avoids the takedown attempt easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Hawk. Kawozinazaki does a little dance to reset his feet. Hawk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hawk looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kawozinazaki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hawk circles away. Kawozinazaki is breathing heavily. Hawk looks for a takedown but Kawozinazaki sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hawk. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kawozinazaki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hawk as he avoids it easily. Hawk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kawozinazaki circles away quickly and effectively. Hawk throws a sloppy head kick and Kawozinazaki moves out of range easily. Kawozinazaki moves out of range of the strikes. A combination from Hawk does no damage. Hawk is looking to land body kicks. Hawk tries to clinch but fails miserably so Kawozinazaki counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Hawk looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kawozinazaki trying to control the position from guard on top but Hawk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kawozinazaki won't allow Hawk to get back to his feet. Hawk is trying to control the position but Kawozinazaki postures up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kawozinazaki content to stall in guard here. Xhun Kawozinazaki has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hawk misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hawk throws a nice looking combination but Kawozinazaki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kawozinazaki keeps the fight on the outside. Kawozinazaki shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hawk defends it nicely. Hawk looks for a takedown but Kawozinazaki sprawls well. Hawk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hawk closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kawozinazaki did well to prevent Hawk getting side control. Kawozinazaki is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hawk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hawk's back! Kawozinazaki has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hawk has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kawozinazaki doesn't have the hooks in and Hawk manages to turn into his guard.
Hawk trying to control but Kawozinazaki is working from the bottom. Kawozinazaki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hawk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hawk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hawk controlling from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He has hold of a leg but Kawozinazaki is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hawk persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Hawk trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hawk pushing down on Kawozinazaki's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hawk wants to stand up but Kawozinazaki is controlling the position.
Hawk not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hawk trying to mount his opponent but Kawozinazaki defends it. Hawk landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kawozinazaki has hold of Hawk's hands but Hawk slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kawozinazaki is in trouble now - Hawk has advanced to mount! Hawk raining down hammerfists from mount. Hawk connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kawozinazaki is looking to improve his position but Hawk isn't that keen on the idea. Kawozinazaki is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hawk is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kawozinazaki can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hawk lands a big elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk working away from the top, dropping strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Hawk looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Kawozinazaki is rocked! Hawk lands a heavy elbow. Kawozinazaki is still in real trouble! Can Hawk finish him? Kawozinazaki is squirming around, avoiding Hawk's attempts to control the action. Hawk lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Mike Hawk is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hawk lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kawozinazaki hang on? Kawozinazaki is squirming around, avoiding Hawk's attempts to control the action. Hawk postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kawozinazaki looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kawozinazaki is in all sorts of trouble here.
Xhun Kawozinazaki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hawk sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Hawk showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hawk has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
