Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lance Fanger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fanger comes to the cage accompanied by Satin in a coffin by Modest Mouse. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lance Fanger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Banner! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banner fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fanger sprawls well initially but Banner persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fanger tries to roll over but Banner keeps him under control. Fanger is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Banner pulls his head out easily. Banner seems to be looking for submissions.
Banner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fanger is just riding it out for now. Banner eventually gives up the hold. Fanger tries to kick Banner off but Banner keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fanger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Banner on the ground. Fanger regains full guard. Nicely done. Banner thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Fanger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Banner sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fanger's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fanger wants to get back to his feet. Banner wants to work for an arm triangle but Fanger is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Banner stops Fanger from getting back to his feet.
Banner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fanger does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Banner prevents Fanger from standing back up.
Fanger won't allow Banner to pass to mount. Banner throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Banner tries for a takedown but Fanger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Banner looks gassed! Fanger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Banner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Banner tries to improve position but can't. Banner manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Fanger content to control rather than advance. Banner actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fanger seems to be looking for submissions.
Banner is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Fanger is tapping! Great win for Banner!
