Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Taktarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cal Worsham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taktarov is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Oleg Taktarov has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Taktarov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cal Worsham! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Taktarov. Taktarov is breathing heavily. Taktarov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Worsham to score an easy takedown into full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Worsham works over Taktarov with some ground and pound from guard. Worsham postures up and lands a big shot to Taktarov's brow. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Worsham drops back looking for a leg! Taktarov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Taktarov manages to kick Worsham off! Worsham jumps back into Taktarov's guard. Worsham works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ground and pound from Worsham. Worsham not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Worsham throwing shots but Taktarov is blocking nicely. Taktarov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Worsham on the ground. Worsham takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Worsham thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Taktarov's head. Worsham seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Taktarov is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
