Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Tenerchia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RAY Even (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tenerchia comes to the cage accompanied by War Machine by KISS. RAY Even is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Tenerchia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, RAY Even!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Even tries to clinch but Tenerchia moves out of range.
Tenerchia tries to clinch up but Even circles away and keeps his distance.
Tenerchia closes the distance and clinches.
Even wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tenerchia is pressed up against the cage. Even has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tenerchia down to the mat. Tenerchia avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Even closes the distance but Tenerchia moves to the side
and Tenerchia counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Even!
Tenerchia looking to secure an arm triangle but Even defends it well.
Tenerchia blocks Even's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Even is looking to improve his position but Tenerchia isn't that keen on the idea.
Tenerchia unloads with some shots from mount but Even bucks and avoids them well.
Tenerchia misses with a head shot.
Even tries to hold on but Tenerchia postures up.
Even is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tenerchia fails to move to back control.
Tenerchia looking for a guillotine from mount but Even is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Even is trying to escape the mount.
Even is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Tenerchia throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Even is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Tenerchia prevents Even from getting the reversal.
Even regains half guard.
Even should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Tenerchia looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Even with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Even tries to get to full guard but Tenerchia has control of the leg.
Tenerchia trying to advance position but Even counters by regaining guard.
Even preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Even wants to stand and escape but Tenerchia is having none of it.
Tenerchia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tenerchia is pushing down on Even's leg trying to pass to half guard. Even is fighting to maintain full guard but Tenerchia has managed to sneak the leg through.
Tenerchia passes to full mount!
Even is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Even looks gassed!
Tenerchia looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Tenerchia looking to ground and pound but Even is blocking nicely.
Tenerchia blocks Even's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
The referee warns Even that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Even working to try and regain half guard.
Tenerchia is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Even can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Tenerchia trying to control but he's not successful this time.
You get the feeling that Even really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Even throwing hammer fists to the chest of Tenerchia. What's that going to do exactly?
Even gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Even is trying to control but can't.
Tenerchia looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Tenerchia is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Even is just riding it out for now. Tenerchia eventually gives up the hold.
Tenerchia is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Tenerchia not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tenerchia looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tenerchia winds up and cracks Even with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Tenerchia in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Even tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Tenerchia!
