Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Greg Corn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacob Parker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker works the jab nicely.
Corn closes the distance and clinches up with Parker, looking for a takedown. Corn pushes Parker against the cage but Parker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Corn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Parker lands a nice shot that snaps Corn's head back.

Corn rushes Parker and presses him up against the cage.
Corn has Parker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Parker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Corn moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Corn ducks under a wild hook from Parker.

Corn shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Corn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Parker throws out the jab.
Parker throws an overhand right that lands on Corn's shoulder, as Corn tries to avoid the shot.
The fighters circling - Corn throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Parker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Corn is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Parker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Corn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Parker has managed to get both his arms back between Corn's legs - danger averted.

Parker might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Corn drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Parker gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Corn tries to pull guard but Parker holds him up against the cage and eventually Corn drops back down to his feet.

Corn tightens his grip and picks Parker up, before dumping him to the ground. Parker manages to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Parker is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Corn had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Parker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Corn has time to react.
