Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alvan Kerrigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adolph Ciller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerrigan comes into the arena with Batwitaba blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Alvan Kerrigan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerrigan throws a head kick but Ciller moves out of range.
Ciller tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kerrigan misses with the combination.
Ciller has taken the fight to the clinch.
A knee to the head by Kerrigan.
It looks like Adolph Ciller has been cut. Ciller wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kerrigan lands an elbow inside that Ciller shrugs off. Ciller wants to stall.
Kerrigan tries to score a body lock takedown but Ciller shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Kerrigan lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ciller backwards. Kerrigan prevents Ciller from breaking the clinch. A short right from Kerrigan. Kerrigan digs a right hand into Ciller's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ciller's gas tank. Ciller changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kerrigan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kerrigan lands a big uppercut and Ciller crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ciller looks OK.
Ciller is rocked! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ciller can do anything to dispel that myth. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Ciller tries to get to full guard but Kerrigan has control of the leg. Ciller is still in real trouble! Can Kerrigan finish him? Ciller is not content to let Kerrigan control the position. Ciller seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerrigan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ciller has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kerrigan is working away from the top position though. Kerrigan passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ciller! Ciller swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Ciller wants to control but Kerrigan is having none of it. Ciller bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Ciller wants to stand but Kerrigan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kerrigan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ciller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kerrigan keeping moving, preventing Ciller from controlling successfully. Ciller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kerrigan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ciller is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ciller trying to control the position from guard on top but Kerrigan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kerrigan keeping full guard, as Ciller tries to pass.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Ciller shoots in but no luck this time. Kerrigan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Ciller counters with a shoot takedown. Kerrigan fights it but they end up in guard. Ciller preventing the sweep. Kerrigan is breathing heavily. Kerrigan is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ciller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kerrigan is keeping the position for now. Ciller working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kerrigan's head.

Ciller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kerrigan to the mat! Kerrigan manages to get full guard. Ciller controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kerrigan controls Ciller momentarily but Ciller frees himself. Kerrigan wants to control the position but Ciller says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Ciller missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ciller is pressing down on Kerrigan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kerrigan is holding on for now. Kerrigan tries to get to full guard but Ciller has control of the leg. Ciller is controlling the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Alvan Kerrigan will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Adolph Ciller's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ciller misses with a right hand and Kerrigan counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Ciller wants a takedown.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Kerrigan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Alvan Kerrigan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ciller rushes Kerrigan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ciller drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Ciller closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Kerrigan throws an elbow but misses. Ciller tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Alvan Kerrigan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adolph Ciller. A body shot lands from Kerrigan.

Ciller is trying to break the clinch but Kerrigan has him pressed against the cage. Kerrigan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ciller instigates a clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kerrigan lands a shoulder strike. Ciller has had enough of the clinch but Kerrigan keeps him there for the moment. Nice elbow from Kerrigan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ciller is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kerrigan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Ciller takes an elbow to the temple. Kerrigan tries a knee to the head but Ciller blocks it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ciller moves into range and clinches up with Kerrigan. Kerrigan stops a takedown attempt from Ciller.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ciller with the ground and pound from mount. Ciller stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ciller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kerrigan has his foot on Ciller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ciller works his way back into a safe position though. Kerrigan trying to keep a closed guard but Ciller is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kerrigan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ciller wanted to stand there but Kerrigan had control of the position. Kerrigan looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kerrigan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kerrigan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kerrigan. Kerrigan tries to clinch up and Ciller moves into the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ciller wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Kerrigan lands an elbow just above Ciller 's eye. Kerrigan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ciller misses with a takedown attempt and Kerrigan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ciller won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ciller is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Ciller tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kerrigan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kerrigan in side control, just content to control the action for now. Kerrigan scoring with punches from side control. Kerrigan in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Kerrigan working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Ciller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ciller is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Kerrigan is staying active. Ciller tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ciller tries to control but Kerrigan manages to take his back. Kerrigan is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Ciller is defending well though. Kerrigan let's go of the attempt for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ciller trying to control but not successfully. Ciller is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Ciller just trying to survive but Kerrigan is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Kerrigan misses with a punch to the head. Kerrigan connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Ciller to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kerrigan throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Ciller!

Ciller manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Kerrigan is now in side control. Ciller manages to get back to half guard. Kerrigan is looking to take a break and control but Ciller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kerrigan is really struggling to control Ciller but he's trying to hold on to the position. Ciller controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Ciller is trying to maintain the position but Kerrigan is very close to passing his half guard. Adolph Ciller has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerrigan stops Ciller from getting back to his feet.
Ciller is looking to control Kerrigan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ciller avoid being mounted? Kerrigan winds up and cracks Ciller with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kerrigan looks to land a combination but Ciller avoids it well. Ciller rushes Kerrigan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kerrigan with a knee to the head.
Nice body punch from Kerrigan - that landed with a thud.
Alvan Kerrigan has scored more points in the clinch so far. Kerrigan lands a hook to the side of the head. Ciller jumps guard but Kerrigan stands there with Ciller around his waist. Ciller gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kerrigan is trying to break the clinch but Ciller has him pressed against the cage. Kerrigan scores with an uppercut up the middle. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Ciller's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! with the fighters clinched against the cage, Kerrigan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kerrigan closes the distance but Ciller moves to the side and Ciller counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kerrigan is refusing to be controlled, as Ciller sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ciller passes the guard and advances to mount! Ciller lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kerrigan hang on? Kerrigan can't escape the position.
Ciller controlling the pace for now. Ciller looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Kerrigan tries to lock up and control but Ciller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ciller controlling the position easily from mount. Ciller trying to control but he's not successful this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Alvan Kerrigan showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kerrigan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
