The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svardet tries to clinch but Leuka moves away
enabling Leuka to counter with a crisp jab.
A left lands for Leuka.
Svardet shoots in but Leuka avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Leuka with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Svardet shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Leuka tries to roll over but Svardet keeps him under control.

Leuka escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Svardet gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Leuka pushes Svardet off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Svardet misses with a hook. Leuka ducked under it nicely.

Svardet fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Leuka avoids it really well and circles away.
Svardet tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Leuka swivels and escapes.
Lasi Leuka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kors Svardet.

and Leuka counters with a three punch combo that has Svardet backing up. Svardet nods at Leuka to acknowledge the strikes.

Svardet takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Svardet swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Leuka counters with a right hand to the body.
Leuka throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Leuka is looking to slow Svardet down with leg kicks.
Leuka lands a nice looking kick to the body. Svardet takes a step back to recover.
Leuka fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Svardet on the side of the head.
Svardet takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Leuka dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A cross from Leuka lands.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Leuka's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A solid leg kick lands there for Leuka.
Svardet needs to keep his hands up - Leuka had a free shot at his head there.

Leuka digs a good hook to Svardet's body.
Svardet tries for a takedown but Leuka circles away easily
and Leuka connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Leuka lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Svardet doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Leuka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Leuka slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Svardet is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A punch lands to the side of Svardet 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Leuka counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Svardet! He's just covering up as Leuka starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
