Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between East Rupp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rasta Madafaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasta Madafaka is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rasta Madafaka! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Madafaka wants to clinch up but Rupp keeps it at a distance. Madafaka moves in looking to clinch but Rupp pushes him off. Rupp shoots in for a takedown but Madafaka shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Madafaka doesn't manage to clinch there - Rupp circles away.

Madafaka tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Rupp counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Madafaka pushes Rupp off looking to stand but Rupp dives back in and keeps control.
Rupp seems to be working for a kimura but Madafaka defends the submission attempt. Rupp is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
