PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Beastman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Boshesh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Beastman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cryptopsy - Crown of Horns. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, The Beastman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kim Boshesh!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Beastman.

Boshesh pushes Beastman up against the cage in a clinch.

Beastman manages to break the clinch.

Beastman rushes Boshesh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Boshesh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Beastman works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boshesh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kim Boshesh was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Boshesh winds up and cracks Beastman with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Boshesh looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Boshesh lands a nice short elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Boshesh has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boshesh accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Boshesh shoots in for a double leg but Beastman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Beastman tries for a takedown but Boshesh sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Beastman gets caught napping as Boshesh dives in and scores a takedown. Beastman manages to retain guard.

Boshesh lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Boshesh. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Boshesh is looking to take a break and control but Beastman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Boshesh thows a huge punch but Beastman dodges it nicely.
Boshesh takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Boshesh landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Boshesh is nestled in close to Beastman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boshesh thows a huge punch but Beastman dodges it nicely.
Beastman wants to control but Boshesh is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Boshesh moves into full mount! Beastman won't be happy about that!

It looks like The Beastman has been cut.
Beastman is bucking up trying to escape but Boshesh cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boshesh trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Boshesh cracks Beastman with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.


Beastman is rocked!
A nice elbow there by Boshesh.
Oh Beastman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!


The Beastman's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Boshesh has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Boshesh lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Beastman! Boshesh sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Beastman and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kim Boshesh!
