Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamata Orochi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drago's entrance music is Russian National Anthem. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yamata Orochi!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago throws a nice looking combination but Orochi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Drago misses the shot to the body.
Orochi lands a high kick!

It looks like Ivan Drago has been cut.
Drago punishes Orochi's body with a nice straight punch.
Orochi takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ivan Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Orochi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Orochi throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Orochi's corner calls for a 1-2. Orochi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Orochi counters with a crisp right hand that drops Drago! Orochi lets Drago back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Drago is rocked!

Ivan Drago's cut is getting worse.
Orochi lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Oh Drago is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Drago seems to have got his legs back now.
Orochi can't find room to land a body shot as Drago controls the action.

Orochi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Orochi throws a hook to the side of Drago's head but Drago sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Drago stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Drago doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Orochi misses with a body shot.
Drago tries to clinch up but Orochi circles away and keeps his distance.
Orochi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Orochi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Drago's sensitive parts.
Orochi lands with a straight right. Drago didn't see that one coming.

Drago is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Orochi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Orochi feints and then cracks Drago's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Drago down.
Orochi connects with a solid leg kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Orochi scores with a four punch combination!
Drago sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Orochi lands a big head kick that sends Drago tumbling to the mat! Orochi takes a step backwards and waves Drago back to his feet - he wants the finish!
A punch lands to the side of Orochi 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Drago throws out a loose jab but Orochi uses good head movement to avoid it.

Orochi lands a brutal head kick. Drago looks out on his feet and Orochi throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
