Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Simba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Baramari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baramari is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Schmoyoho - Winning - a Song by Charlie Sheen. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simba misses the body punch
and Baramari counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Simba thinking.
Simba stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Baramari fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Baramari throws a front kick that sends Simba stumbling back into the cage.
Baramari tries to score with a low kick but Simba moves his leg out of the way.
Simba has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Baramari.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Baramari feints a jab promting Simba to slip. Baramari then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Simba slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Simba moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Baramari pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Baramari has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Simba tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baramari swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Simba on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Simba lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Baramari dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Simba clobbers Baramari with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Simba!

Simba takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Simba throws a hook to the side of Baramari's head but Baramari sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Simba has Baramari up against the cage in a clinch.
Baramari breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Simba throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Simba doesn't manage to clinch there - Baramari circles away.
Nice straight punches there by Simba. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Simba.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Baramari in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Baramari lands a big head kick that sends Simba tumbling to the mat! Baramari takes a step backwards and waves Simba back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Simba is rocked!
It looks like King Simba has been cut.
Baramari connects with a solid leg kick.
Oh Simba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Baramari is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Simba flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Simba is out cold! Baramari holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
