Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Potapkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moloch Vlavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Potapkin has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Potapkin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Moloch Vlavo! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vlavo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Vlavo wants to break free but Potapkin has control.
Vlavo tries to break the clinch but Potapkin is controlling the position. Vlavo lands a body shot. Vlavo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Potapkin just stands there and leans against the cage. Potapkin wants a takedown but no success here.
Vlavo is trying to push Potapkin away but Potapkin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Vlavo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Potapkin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Potapkin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Vlavo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Potapkin, into his guard. Potapkin throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potapkin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vlavo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vlavo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Potapkin has his foot on Vlavo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vlavo works his way back into a safe position though. Potapkin is working an open guard so Vlavo takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. A left lands for Vlavo. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Potapkin is defended easily by Vlavo. Potapkin is breathing heavily. Vlavo has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Potapkin is defending well against a takedown attempt. Vlavo is trying to force a seperation but Potapkin has the dominant position. Vlavo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Vlavo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vlavo lands a nice uppercut. Vlavo lands a shot to the body. Vlavo drags the fight down to the ground.
Potapkin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vlavo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vlavo has escaped and now he's on top! Vlavo wants to stand but Potapkin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Potapkin looking for subs off his back but Vlavo has passed one foot through into half guard.
Vlavo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Potapkin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Potapkin actively working from the bottom here. Potapkin actively working from the bottom here. Potapkin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Vlavo decides to return to a standing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vlavo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Potapkin defends it nicely. Ivan Potapkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Moloch Vlavo. Vlavo closes the distance and clinches up with Potapkin, looking for a takedown. Vlavo pushes Potapkin against the cage but Potapkin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Potapkin shoots for a double leg takedown but Vlavo sprawls well. He's pushed Potapkin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Potapkin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Vlavo misses with a double jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vlavo gets a clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vlavo pressing his opponent against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Moloch Vlavo dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Vlavo works over Potapkin's head and body with a nice combination. Potapkin shoots in but no luck this time. Vlavo lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Potapkin goes down and covers up as Vlavo starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Moloch Vlavo!
