Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Zaremba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Odinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaremba takes the fight into the clinch.

Zaremba closes the distance and pushes Odinson back into the cage.
Zaremba stalling the fight.
Zaremba misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Odinson.
Odinson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Odinson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zaremba pulls his leg out and moves away.

Zaremba gets caught napping as Odinson dives in and scores a takedown. Zaremba manages to retain guard.
Odinson wants to control from the top but Zaremba keeps moving.

Zaremba is pulling down on Odinson's head to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Thor Odinson was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Odinson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Odinson swats away the attempt to clinch by Zaremba.
A jab from Zaremba finds it's way through Odinson's defenses.
Zaremba tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Odinson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Odinson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zaremba has him pressed against the cage.

Zaremba struggles to land a body shot inside as Odinson controls his hands.
Zaremba manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Zaremba could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Zaremba pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Odinson counters with a thumping low kick.

Zaremba moves out of range as Odinson throws a body kick.

and Odinson counters with an inside leg kick.

Pawel Zaremba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thor Odinson.

Zaremba moves into the clinch.
Odinson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Odinson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zaremba closes the distance but Odinson moves to the side
and Odinson counters with a good low kick that Zaremba was not able to check.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Odinson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zaremba circles away quickly and effectively.

so Odinson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Zaremba keeping moving, preventing Odinson from controlling successfully.
Zaremba is looking to stand back up but Odinson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Zaremba.

Odinson is trying to work for a kimura but Zaremba is defending well.
Well, if Odinson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Odinson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Zaremba because Odinson loaded up on that one.

Zaremba has a takedown stuffed.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Zaremba might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
