Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mickey O Neil!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a combination that misses
and O Neil counters with a one-two to the body.
O Neil thows a body shot but no joy.
O Neil misses with a double jab.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but O Neil bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silva misses with a hook to the body
and O Neil counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva is on the wrong end of a nice combination from O Neil.
A combination from Silva does no damage.
Silva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from O Neil finds it's way round the side to connect with Silva's head.

O Neil misses with a straight left.

Silva throws a hook to the side of O Neil's head but O Neil sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Silva looks to land a left hand but O Neil moved out of range nicely.

Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and O Neil counters with a lovely straight right hand!
O Neil digs a good hook to Silva's body.
O Neil drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

O Neil takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Silva wants to clinch up but O Neil keeps it at a distance.

Terry Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and O Neil counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silva thinking.

O Neil lands with an overhand left.

O Neil has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Silva has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Silva there as he acknowledges the shot.
Silva doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Silva darts in trying to clinch
and O Neil counters with a crisp right that sends Silva to the canvas! O Neil follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
