The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Four swinging wildly here.
Four misses with a two punch combination.
Maeda tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Four counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Maeda!
Maeda tries to hold on but Four pushes him away.
Four misses with a head shot.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Four controlling the position easily from mount.
A nice elbow there by Four.
It looks like Mitsuyo Maeda has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Four avoids the attempt from Maeda to control.
Four trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Maeda tries to lock up and control but Four gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Four controlling from the full mount.
Four knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maeda on the ground.

Four lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Maeda hang on?
That has opened up Mitsuyo Maeda's cut even more.
Poor strikes thrown by Four there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Maeda tries to hold on but Four postures up.

The cut above Mitsuyo Maeda's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mitsuyo Maeda's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
