Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Benoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Kain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benoit comes to the cage accompanied by Whatever. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew Benoit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dylan Kain! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kain shoots for a takedown but Benoit saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Benoit connects with a leg kick. Kain looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Benoit forces Kain back against the cage and clinches. Benoit drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Benoit gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Benoit is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kain doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Benoit. Kain tries to get to full guard but Benoit has control of the leg. Kain taking some punishment here, with Benoit in his half guard. Kain keeping control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kain wants to improve his position but Benoit is controlling well.
Benoit is looking for a kimura here.
Kain is trying to stand up here but Benoit is controlling him well. Benoit is trying to control the action in half guard but Kain is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kain is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Benoit pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Benoit escapes and gets back to his feet. Benoit darts in and clinches Kain up against the cage. Benoit jumps guard.
Kain slips nicely into half guard. Benoit trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Benoit moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Benoit is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kain defends well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kain thows a big elbow that misses. Benoit throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kain pushing down on Benoit's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kain decides to stand and escape the position. Kain moves away from the strike by Benoit. Benoit misses with a leg kick and Kain counters by moving into the clinch. Kain lands a knee to the body.
Benoit prevents a body shot from Kain. Benoit pulls guard effortlessly. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kain accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kain stops Benoit from standing up. Benoit is breathing heavily. Kain postures up.
Kain in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Benoit wants to stand but Kain is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kain working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kain trying to control the position from guard on top but Benoit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Benoit wants to sweep but no luck. Kain tries to stand but Benoit is controlling from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Benoit fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kain, pushing him back against the cage. Knees in the clinch landing for Kain.
Kain can't find room to land a body shot as Benoit controls the action.
Kain tries to throw a body punch but Benoit avoids it by throwing Kain back against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kain with a knee to the head.
Kain misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Benoit.
Kain tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Benoit just stands there and leans against the cage. Benoit misses with an elbow over the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Andrew Benoit will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Benoit avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Andrew Benoit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Kain. Benoit throws a sloppy head kick and Kain cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kain tries to close the distance and clinch but Benoit swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A big left from Benoit misses. Kain clinches up with Benoit and pushes him back against the cage. Benoit breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kain connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Benoit keeps the fight on the outside. Benoit throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Benoit circles away from the clinch attempt and Benoit counters by moving into the clinch. Kain just leaning against Benoit, taking a breather. Benoit doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kain looking to slow down the pace here. Benoit on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kain blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Benoit wants the takedown. Kain is fighting it off but Benoit persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kain's guard against the cage. Kain wants to stand and escape but Benoit is having none of it. Benoit scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Benoit gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Benoit closes the distance and clinches. Benoit pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Benoit slips a jab and a cross from Kain.
Benoit slaps away a takedown attempt from Kain, before circling back to the center of the mat. A slapping body kick lands there for Kain.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kain tries to clinch but Benoit moves out of range. Benoit defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kain. Kain is breathing heavily. Kain blocks a head kick by Benoit.
Benoit shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Benoit stands and throws Kain's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kain manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Benoit is looking to improve his position.
Benoit is trying to stand back up but Kain is controlling him
Kain is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Benoit is just riding it out for now. Kain eventually gives up the hold. Benoit wants to improve his position but Kain is controlling well.
Andrew Benoit overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kain looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Benoit is trying to get back to full guard. Kain trying to control the action but Benoit is working from the bottom. Kain has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Benoit works to full guard. Benoit has a closed guard, preventing Kain from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kain trying to control the position from guard on top but Benoit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kain is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Benoit is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Benoit has escaped and now he's on top! Benoit stands up from Kain's guard - Benoit perhaps looking for a knockout. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kain tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Benoit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kain tries to clinch up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Andrew Benoit will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Benoit closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Benoit stands up. Benoit misses with a left hand and Kain counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Benoit is lucky that one didn't land flush. Benoit shoots in for a takedown but Kain shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kain darts in trying to clinch and Benoit counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kain's guard now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Benoit scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kain had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Benoit defends it easily. Kain striking off his back but it's not causing Benoit any problems. Kain is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Benoit defends well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kain takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benoit slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Benoit decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Benoit misses with a shot to the body and Kain connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Benoit circles away from the clinch attempt.
Benoit closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Benoit lands in his opponent's guard. Benoit is standing up over Kain. Kain looks to escape but Benoit dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kain manages to work his way to half guard, despite Benoit's best efforts. Kain wants to get back to his feet.
Benoit decides to stand up. This has been an exciting period of action! Benoit shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kain napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kain is looking to reverse the position. Kain can't do much from the bottom here. Benoit stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kain fails in his attempt to clinch. A momentary lapse in concentration from Kain enables Benoit to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kain manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Kain is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Benoit tries to get to full guard but Kain has control of the leg. Benoit is working hard here to advance position. Benoit is defending against the submission attempts here by Kain.
Kain wants to advance to full mount but Benoit doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kain wants to control from the top but Benoit keeps moving. Kain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Benoit swivels though and keeps the full guard. Benoit wriggles free and stands up. Dylan Kain has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kain misses with a double jab.
Benoit pushes Kain up against the cage in a clinch. Andrew Benoit is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. This has been an exciting period of action! Benoit gets a trip takedown into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Andrew Benoit showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Benoit, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
