Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Flintlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by Deftones - Change. Flintlock has chosen Undead by Hollywood Undead as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Flintlock manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flintlock swivels though and keeps the full guard. Flintlock controls Miller momentarily but Miller frees himself. Flintlock throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Miller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Flintlock tries to land a sweep but no joy. Flintlock keeping full guard, as Miller tries to pass. Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Flintlock wants to improve his position but instead Miller has moved into half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Miller fails with the takedown. Flintlock lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Flintlock finds it's way through Miller's defenses. Flintlock moves in looking to clinch but Miller pushes him off. Flintlock looks to land a combination but Miller avoids it well. Flintlock pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Flintlock darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Flintlock which made him look bad. Miller shoots in but no luck this time. Michael Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Miller gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Miller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Flintlock looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Flintlock tries to improve position but can't. Flintlock manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Flintlock tries to get to full guard but Miller has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flintlock is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Miller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Miller's back! Flintlock working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Flintlock looks gassed! Miller rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Miller slips nicely into half guard. Miller is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Flintlock! Miller looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Miller working for a guillotine from mount but Flintlock is in no mood to give up. Miller working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Flintlock is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Miller is working for a guillotine from mount but Flintlock frees his head quite easily.
Flintlock slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Flintlock is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Miller pulls his head out easily. Flintlock tries to roll over but Miller keeps him under control. Flintlock looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miller fails with the takedown. Miller fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Miller avoids a punch combination nicely.
Flintlock drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Flintlock would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Flintlock tries to free his leg and advance position but Miller is retaining full guard. Flintlock passes Miller's left leg - he's now in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Flintlock is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Miller has managed to free his arm - good work. Flintlock seems to be working for a kimura but Miller defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flintlock is looking for a kimura but Miller is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Flintlock to get the leverage. Miller looking for submissions off his back. Flintlock is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Flintlock is thwarting Miller's attempts to control the position. Michael Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Flintlock has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Flintlock is landing with some decent strikes but Miller is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Flintlock is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Miller can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Miller stands and throws Flintlock's legs to the side, diving into side control. Miller tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Miller has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Miller looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Miller working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Flintlock! Miller wants to control the pace but Flintlock is squirming around nicely. Flintlock tries to reverse the position but Miller maintains control. Flintlock tries to lock up and control but Miller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Flintlock is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Miller moves to take his opponent's back. Flintlock rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

That was a close second round but I would say that Michael Miller will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Miller with a lazy takedown attempt and Flintlock counters with a left and a right that stings Miller. Miller tries for a takedown but Flintlock circles away easily and Flintlock counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Flintlock connects with the punch. Miller looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Flintlock! Flintlock is trying desperately to improve position. Flintlock wants to control but Miller is having none of it. Flintlock is trying to escape the mount.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Miller looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flintlock regains half guard. Flintlock is staying active underneath Miller, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Miller is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Flintlock is just riding it out for now. Miller eventually gives up the hold. Miller is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Flintlock has left one of his arms exposed and Miller doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Flintlock screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
