Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brodie Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Creyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Creyes's choice of entrance music: The Infection. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jonathan Creyes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

No luck for Creyes with that takedown attempt.
Creyes tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Matthews holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Creyes tries to break free but Matthews pushes him back against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Matthews pulls guard successfully.
Matthews manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Creyes manages to get himself to full guard.

Matthews has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Matthews is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Creyes looks calm but he's in trouble here. Matthews gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Creyes is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Matthews lets go of the hold and Creyes can pop his arm back in it's socket.
