And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jenwyn Browne!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Browne tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brown swivels and escapes.

Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Browne controls Brown momentarily but Brown frees himself.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Browne is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Browne throws an elbow that misses. Brown uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Browne's guard. Nice move by Brown!

Browne throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Brown escapes and throws Browne's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Brown stands up and beckons Browne to his feet.

Well Brown has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Marshal Brown was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
