Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Clark Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Dunham!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Dunham counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dunham is fighting to break Steel's control of his arms but Steel is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Steel tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dunham trying to control the position from guard on top but Steel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Dave Dunham has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Steel swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Steel gets caught flat footed, as Dunham shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dunham is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dunham has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Steel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dunham accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dunham might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Steel kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dave Dunham was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Steel misses with a jab to the body
and Dunham counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Dunham shoots for a double leg takedown but Steel sprawls well. He's pushed Dunham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dunham shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Steel lands a nice shot to the body.
Dunham misses with a jab, cross combination.
Steel lands with an uppercut that bounces Dunham off the cage and back into range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Steel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Steel tries to get out of the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Steel connects with a right hand. Dunham shakes it off.
Dunham misses with an uppercut.
Dunham will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Steel throws a one two combo.
Dunham tries for a takedown but Steel sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Steel lands a nice looking body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dunham tries to close the distance and clinch up but Steel swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dunham is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Steel lands a nice shot to the body.
Steel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Steel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Steel scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dunham takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Steel fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dunham takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Steel lands a really nice looking cross but Dunham seems unphased.

Dunham seems to have recovered his senses.

Dunham takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Steel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Steel lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Dunham walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clark Steel dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Dunham drops his hands momentarily and Steel takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Clark Steel showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Steel has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
