The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiihonen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Henson moves away.
Tiihonen dodges the punch combination from Henson.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tiihonen.
Henson looks to land a combination but Tiihonen avoids it well.
Tiihonen keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Henson throws a low kick but Tiihonen moves out of range easily.
Henson throws a jab when Tiihonen was well out of range.
Tiihonen shoots in for a double leg but Henson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tiihonen tries for a takedown but Henson circles away easily
and Henson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mickey Henson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jasser Tiihonen.
Tiihonen lands with an overhand left.
Henson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Tiihonen looks to score with a jab to the body but Henson is just out of range.
Henson slaps away a takedown attempt from Tiihonen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Henson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tiihonen.
Henson cracks Tiihonen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Henson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A jab lands there for Henson.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tiihonen checks a leg kick.

Henson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tiihonen to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Tiihonen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Henson's guard.

Tiihonen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Henson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Henson.

Tiihonen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Henson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tiihonen, into his guard.

Tiihonen has an active guard here but Henson has managed to pass into half guard.

Tiihonen has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Henson. Oh but Tiihonen has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Henson goes limp - he's gone! Tiihonen jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
