Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Distacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Dumonte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Distacio comes to the cage accompanied by Art of War. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Paul Dumonte enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Dumonte!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Distacio.
Distacio fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dumonte misses with a low kick.
Distacio throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dumonte looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Distacio fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dumonte takes one on the button.
Dumonte blocks a head kick by Distacio.
Dumonte tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Distacio was well out of range. Poor timing from Dumonte.
Dumonte ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Distacio moves away.
Distacio shoots in but no luck this time.
Dumonte tries to clinch there but Distacio circles away.
Dumonte connects with a leg kick. Distacio looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Distacio feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dumonte really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Distacio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Distacio.

Dumonte avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Distacio.

Distacio has an Americana. Dumonte didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Distacio is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Distacio hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
