4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Liam James! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

James is trying hard to land a takedown here. Morgan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Morgan circles away from the clinch attempt.
No luck for James with that takedown attempt. James doesn't succeed with the takedown and Morgan counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Liam James has been cut. Scott Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liam James. Morgan slaps away a takedown attempt from James, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Morgan bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops James! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morgan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if James can do anything to dispel that myth. Morgan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Morgan stands and steps away. James gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. A head kick by James misses and Morgan counters with an outside leg kick.
Morgan is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops James like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving James from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Morgan!
