Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Incubus Foo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua has chosen drop the world as his entrance music. The key to victory for Incubus Foo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Incubus Foo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rickson Rua! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foo throws a predictable looking body shot
and Rua counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rua. Rua throwing strikes from guard but Foo blocks nicely. Foo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Foo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rua on the ground. Rua postures up.
Rua trying to control the position from guard on top but Foo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Foo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rua drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rua jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rua is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Foo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rua is fighting to break Foo's control of his arms but Foo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Incubus Foo just wasn't active enough. Rua uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Foo.
Foo scores with the left hand. Rua knows he should have avoided that one. Rua shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Foo pinned against the cage. Foo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Foo throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rua counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Rua landing some decent shots from guard. Rua loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Rua won't allow Foo to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rua throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rua has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Foo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rua tries to roll over but Foo keeps him under control. Rua wants to improve his position but Foo is controlling well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rua looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rua is pressing down on Foo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Foo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rua controls Foo momentarily but Foo frees himself. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rua is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Rua tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rickson Rua dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Foo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rua. Rua shoots in looking for a takedown but Foo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rua's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Rua moves out of range as Foo strikes. Rua keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Foo. A jab from Foo misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rua shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Foo's guard. Rua won't allow Foo to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rua accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Rua is looking to work some ground and pound but Foo has wrist control. Rickson Rua has got the better of the ground game so far. Rua missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Foo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Foo can't keep his opponent in guard - Rua advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Foo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rua. Foo is trying to control but can't.
Foo is controlling Rua's position as best he can from this difficult position. Rua is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foo is trying to stand back up but Rua is controlling him

That's two minutes gone in the round. Foo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Foo. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rua missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Foo controlling the position. Rua looking to pass the guard. Rua is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Foo wants to stand but Rua is controlling the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rua forces his way into half guard. Rua stops Foo from getting back to his feet.

Rickson Rua showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Rua is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rua looks for a takedown but Foo sprawls well. Rua slips under a jab from Foo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Rua. Rua shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Foo but Foo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foo throws a lazy uppercut
and Rua counters with a straight right hand. Rua takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Foo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rua shoots in looking for a takedown but Foo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rua's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Incubus Foo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickson Rua. Excellent takedown into side control there by Rua. Foo tries to bench press Rua off him but Rua keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Foo is holding Rua down, trying to stall. Rua connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Foo some visible discomfort.
Rua scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Foo to see if he's OK. Foo struggling a bit here. Rua tries for a kimura but Foo is defending well. Foo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Foo tries to get out of the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rua works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Rua scoring with punches and elbows. Foo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rua is controlling him well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Foo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rua connects with a decent elbow. Rua in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua is looking to take a break and control but Foo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Foo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Foo can't do much from the bottom here. Foo is looking to regain half guard here but Rua keeps moving and retains side control. Incubus Foo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rua landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Foo is rocked! Rua is putting a hurting on Foo here, landing some big shots from side control. Oh Foo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Rua scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Foo is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Rua can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rickson Rua! A less than humble Rickson Rua misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
