Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donald The Bricklayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mak Daddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from The Bricklayer. The Bricklayer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Daddy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The Bricklayer manages to get himself to full guard.
Daddy stands up and waves to The Bricklayer to follow him. Daddy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The Bricklayer is looking to clinch but Daddy is avoiding it.
Daddy closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Bricklayer circles away. The Bricklayer tries to clinch up. Daddy has his takedown stuffed and The Bricklayer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by The Bricklayer. Donald The Bricklayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mak Daddy. This has been an exciting period of action! The Bricklayer throwing strikes from guard but Daddy blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daddy looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The Bricklayer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Daddy on the ground. The Bricklayer with a flurry of punches that miss. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as The Bricklayer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The Bricklayer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The Bricklayer wanted to stand there but Daddy had control of the position. Daddy looking for a sweep. Not yet Daddy, not yet. Daddy keeping moving, preventing The Bricklayer from controlling successfully. Daddy has a closed guard, preventing The Bricklayer from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daddy working a defensive guard here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The Bricklayer tries a head kick but it misses.
The Bricklayer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daddy has control of The Bricklayer's left arm, preventing The Bricklayer from doing any damage. Daddy is trying to keep The Bricklayer in close.
Daddy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Daddy controls The Bricklayer momentarily but The Bricklayer frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Bricklayer throwing strikes from guard but Daddy blocks nicely. Daddy controls The Bricklayer momentarily but The Bricklayer frees himself. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Daddy wants to sweep here but The Bricklayer controlling him for the moment. Daddy is trying to control the position but The Bricklayer postures up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mak Daddy wasn't active enough on the ground. The Bricklayer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Daddy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Bricklayer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Daddy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from The Bricklayer. Daddy doesn't manage to clinch there - The Bricklayer circles away.
The Bricklayer misses with a hook to the body
and Daddy counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A frustrated look appears on Daddy's face as he tries to break the clinch. The Bricklayer can't break the clinch.
The Bricklayer jumps guard but Daddy stands there with The Bricklayer around his waist. The Bricklayer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Daddy breaks the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Bricklayer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - The Bricklayer lands in his opponent's guard. Daddy wants to stand and escape but The Bricklayer is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donald The Bricklayer dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The Bricklayer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. The Bricklayer tries to clinch but Daddy is having none of it. Daddy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Bricklayer tries to avoid it but Daddy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Bricklayer to the ground. The Bricklayer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Daddy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. The Bricklayer misses with a body shot
and Daddy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The Bricklayer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The Bricklayer fails in his attempt to clinch. The Bricklayer tries a head kick but it misses.
Daddy is looking to clinch. Daddy fails to land the takedown. Nice sprawl there from Daddy as The Bricklayer shoots in.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Bricklayer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Donald The Bricklayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mak Daddy. Daddy misses with a double jab
and The Bricklayer counters with a single leg into guard. Daddy didn't expect that. Daddy is breathing heavily. Daddy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for The Bricklayer! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Bricklayer tries to get back to half guard but can't. Daddy avoids the attempt from The Bricklayer to control. The Bricklayer is arching his back trying to strike from the bottom but Daddy turns him over and now has his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daddy working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Daddy somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Daddy looking to break The Bricklayer's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. The Bricklayer remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Daddy will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! The Bricklayer is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Daddy missing with punches from the back. Daddy tries to get the hooks in deep but The Bricklayer pushed the leg off. Donald The Bricklayer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daddy misses with an elbow to the head. The Bricklayer tries to break free.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Daddy's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The Bricklayer trying to control the position but Daddy manages to sink in the hooks. Daddy controlling from the back. Daddy working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. The Bricklayer trying to control the hands but Daddy won't let him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mak Daddy will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
The Bricklayer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Daddy. Excellent takedown into side control there by The Bricklayer. Daddy sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The Bricklayer trying to pass the guard but Daddy defending well. The Bricklayer is working for a kimura here but Daddy manages to reverse the position and he's now in The Bricklayer's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daddy controlling from the top position. The Bricklayer striking from the bottom here. The Bricklayer keeping full guard, as Daddy tries to pass. The Bricklayer looking for a guillotine here but Daddy defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Daddy sitting and controlling from the half guard. Daddy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Daddy stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Daddy is trying hard to land a takedown here. The Bricklayer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Daddy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Daddy scores with a jab to the head.
The Bricklayer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Daddy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The Bricklayer looking to score a takedown here. Daddy is defending well but The Bricklayer drives through and ends up in Daddy's guard. The Bricklayer won't allow Daddy to get back to his feet. The Bricklayer tries to stand but Daddy is controlling from the bottom. Daddy looking for a guillotine here but The Bricklayer defends easily.
The Bricklayer wants to get up but he can't break Daddy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daddy is trying to keep The Bricklayer in close.
The Bricklayer chips away with some ground and pound. Daddy trying to keep a closed guard but The Bricklayer is proving a slippery customer.
The Bricklayer wants to pass the guard but Daddy is keeping the position. The Bricklayer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daddy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, The Bricklayer has managed to get both his arms back between Daddy's legs - danger averted. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Daddy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Donald The Bricklayer. I think The Bricklayer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
