Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boom Boom Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Banoch Brae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velasquez is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Banoch Brae is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Boom Boom Velasquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Banoch Brae! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A cross from Brae lands. Velasquez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Velasquez is breathing heavily. Brae scores with a hook to the body. Velasquez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Brae jabs Velasquez to the body, keeping him at a distance. Brae smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Velasquez takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brae scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Velasquez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brae finds it's way round the side to connect with Velasquez's head. Velasquez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brae.
Brae throws out a loose jab but Velasquez uses good head movement to avoid it. Brae will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Brae connects with a crisp jab. Brae misses with a wild combination.
Brae tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Velasquez was well out of range. Poor timing from Brae. A combination from Brae does no damage. Brae throws out a powerful jab. Brae moves into the clinch successfully.
Brae stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Brae works on Velasquez's body with a couple of short punches. A right hand to the body from Brae.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brae lands with a light punch inside.
Velasquez is rocked! Velasquez wants to get back to striking at distance but Brae won't allow it.
Oh Velasquez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Brae lands a big right hand that drops Velasquez! The killer instinct kicks in and Brae finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Brae!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Banoch Brae!
