Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexandr Suvorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suvorov's entrance music is World in Conflict - Polyushko-Pole.. A fine choice. Collins is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Irish Rebel Song. Alexandr Suvorov had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins tries to clinch but Suvorov moves out of range.
Collins throws a lazy head kick
and Suvorov counters with a straight right hand.
Suvorov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Suvorov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Suvorov throws a jab when Collins was well out of range.
Collins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Collins looking to sit in guard and control but Suvorov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Suvorov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Collins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Suvorov, into his guard.
Suvorov wants to sweep but no luck.

Collins trying to control but Suvorov is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suvorov looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Collins passes into side control.
Suvorov is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Collins seems to be looking for submissions.
Collins not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Collins is trying to control the action in half guard but Suvorov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Collins is looking for a kimura but Suvorov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Collins to get the leverage.

Suvorov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Collins defends it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Collins is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

That was a close round but I would say that Alexandr Suvorov will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Suvorov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Collins ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Collins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Collins fails with a takedown attempt.

Suvorov swats away the attempt to clinch by Collins.
Collins pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Suvorov back to the cage. Collins follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Collins throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Suvorov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Suvorov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Collins momentarily.
Nice takedown defense from Suvorov. No joy for Collins on that attempt.

Suvorov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Collins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Suvorov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Collins doesn't manage to clinch there - Suvorov circles away.
Collins throws a combination that misses
letting Suvorov counter with a right hand.
Collins is breathing heavily.
Suvorov shoots in looking for a takedown but Collins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Suvorov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Collins digs a good body shot into Suvorov's ribs.

enabling Suvorov to counter with a crisp jab.
Collins throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Collins throws a hook but Suvorov blocks it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Collins.

Suvorov lands with an uppercut that bounces Collins off the cage and back into range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Collins moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Suvorov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Suvorov bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Collins's head backwards.

Sloppy strikes from Collins. Those never looked like landing.
Suvorov lands with a shot to the body.
Suvorov slips a jab and a cross from Collins.

enabling Suvorov to counter with a crisp jab.
Alexandr Suvorov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Collins.
Suvorov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Suvorov showed some decent athleticism there.
Max Collins has got the better of the ground game so far.
