Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Punchy McPuncherson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Warren Raithert! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McPuncherson cracks Raithert with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. McPuncherson throws a body punch but Raithert moves out of range. McPuncherson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Raithert stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. McPuncherson looks to score with a jab to the body but Raithert is just out of range. McPuncherson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Raithert fails in his attempt to clinch. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Raithert doesn't manage to clinch there - McPuncherson circles away.
McPuncherson thuds a left hand into Raithert's body. Raithert keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Raithert slips under a jab. McPuncherson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Raithert moves away from the strike by McPuncherson. McPuncherson looks to score with a jab to the body but Raithert is just out of range. McPuncherson swings for the body but Raithert moves out of range.
Raithert tries to close the distance and clinch up but McPuncherson swats him away and circles back towards the center. McPuncherson throws the left hand but Raithert avoids the punch easily. Raithert fails in his attempt to clinch. McPuncherson fails to land with a series of punches.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McPuncherson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raithert moves away. Raithert tries to clinch but McPuncherson moves out of range. Raithert fails in his attempt to clinch. McPuncherson swats away the attempt to clinch by Raithert.
That's one minute gone in the round. McPuncherson scores with a body shot.
Raithert scores a takedown into full mount! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. McPuncherson tries to lock up and control but Raithert gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Raithert throwing strikes here but McPuncherson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Raithert cracks McPuncherson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
McPuncherson is wriggling around trying to escape.
McPuncherson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McPuncherson tries to get out of the position. McPuncherson wants to hold on but Raithert pushes him away. Raithert throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
McPuncherson wants to control but Raithert is having none of it. McPuncherson is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. McPuncherson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Raithert throws some wild stikes that McPuncherson manages to avoid easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Raithert lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

McPuncherson takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Raithert's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
