Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Webcke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vince Dixon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Shane Webcke's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Webcke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vince Dixon! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Webcke lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Webcke.
It looks like Vince Dixon has been cut. Webcke uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dixon. Dixon takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Dixon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Webcke, pushing him back against the cage. Dixon creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Webcke tries to break the clinch but Dixon is controlling the position. Dixon lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Shane Webcke has been cut. Dixon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Webcke has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Webcke blocks a punch to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dixon looking to stall.
Dixon tries to pull guard but Webcke holds him up against the cage and eventually Dixon drops back down to his feet.
Dixon is pushing Webcke up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Webcke blocks an elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon lands an elbow inside. A bit of stalling here from Dixon.
Dixon pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Webcke misses with a punch on the inside.

Dixon effectively controlling the action here. Dixon tries to stall but Webcke uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Vince Dixon. Webcke has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dixon finds it's way round the side to connect with Webcke's head. Dixon ducks under a wild hook from Webcke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dixon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Webcke avoids it really well and circles away. Webcke misses with a low kick.
Jab, jab by Webcke - just one landing. Webcke scores with the left hand. Dixon knows he should have avoided that one. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dixon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Webcke swats him away and circles back towards the center. Webcke stuffs the takedown attempt from Dixon. Dixon gets slowly back to his feet. Shane Webcke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vince Dixon. Dixon is looking to clinch. A telegraphed right hand from Dixon misses the target. Dixon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Webcke has clasped his hands together around Dixon's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Webcke throwing strikes but Dixon manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Dixon tries to score with some ground and pound. Webcke controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Dixon looks up at the clock and then as Webcke takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dixon smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Dixon throws an elbow but Webcke slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon tries for a kimura but Webcke is defending well. Dixon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Webcke is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dixon is trying to get an arm triangle but Webcke is defending well. Webcke regains half guard, as Dixon was trying to land strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dixon wants to control but Webcke is keeping him busy. Dixon is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Webcke knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dixon on the ground. Dixon is looking to advance position but Webcke has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Webcke punishing his opponent with strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Webcke lands a heavy elbow.
That has opened up Vince Dixon's cut even more. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Webcke lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dixon hang on?
The cut above Vince Dixon's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vince Dixon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
