Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba McFly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McFly comes into the arena with Metallica - All Nightmare Long blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick lands from John that sends McFly to the canvas. McFly tries to scramble back to his feet but John brings him back down into side control.
McFly is rocked!
McFly tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but John wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Oh McFly is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
John is looking to take a break and control but McFly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McFly seems to have got his legs back now.
McFly prevents John from improving position.
McFly is looking for a sweep.
McFly on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McFly tries to get out of the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
John looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

McFly takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

John has one foot on McFly's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
McFly shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
John throws a right hand that McFly ducks under and follows up with a left that McFly also avoids with ease.

McFly misses with a takedown attempt - John sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bubba McFly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McFly feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

McFly closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McFly lands in his opponent's guard.

John throws a nice looking combination but McFly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
John throws a sloppy head kick and McFly moves out of range easily.
Tommy John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
John gets caught flat footed, as McFly shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

John connects with a vicious head kick that knocks McFly to the floor! John dives in looking for the finish!

McFly tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

McFly has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
McFly looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for John!
John holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as McFly tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
John is bucking up trying to escape but McFly cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
