Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ever has managed to clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Ever.
Mendoza has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ever is working for takedown but Mendoza is calmly controlling the position for now.
Mendoza wants to break free but Ever has control.
Ever goes for a takedown attempt but Mendoza pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ever blocks a head kick by Mendoza.
Mendoza lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ever backs up against the cage.
It looks like Greatest Ever has been cut.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mendoza.
Ever tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mendoza sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ever somewhat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mendoza enables Ever to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mendoza manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ever tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mendoza smiles and moves away.
Mendoza throws a nice looking combination but Ever bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mendoza feints a jab promting Ever to slip. Mendoza then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ever slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ever looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Ever throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mendoza was covering up waiting for the punch and Ever finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Ever drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ever seems to have locked his on tight now - Mendoza screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ever, as he picks up the win!
