Kye throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Starrkey scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Starrkey is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kye might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kye on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Starrkey moves nicely into side control.
Starrkey tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kye's legs.

Starrkey is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Starrkey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kye keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Starrkey misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Starrkey has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kye is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Starrkey yanks on the arm and Kye is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Starrkey.
