Mouzone has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Marlo Mouzone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPunches throws a jab when Mouzone was well out of range.
Mouzone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McPunches counters with a nice uppercut.
McPunches stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McPunches wants it to stay on the feet.
Mouzone misses with a takedown attempt
and Mouzone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marlo Mouzone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mouzone is breathing heavily.
Mouzone is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McPunches's half guard.

McPunches shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mouzone pinned against the cage. Mouzone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mouzone shoots in and drives through. McPunches sprawls well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McPunches scores with a decent looking hook.
Mouzone uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McPunches.

McPunches swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

McPunches uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
and McPunches counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Mouzone! He's just covering up as McPunches starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Punchy McPunches was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
