Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Mayer misses its intended target.
Mayer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mayer tries a head kick but it misses.
Bond misses with a hook.
Sloppy strikes from Bond. Those never looked like landing.
Bond cracks Mayer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Some wild striking there from Bond.
Mayer lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like James Bond has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mayer misses with a head kick.
Mayer tries a head kick but it misses.
Bond takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A combination from Bond does no damage.
Bond lands a jab-cross combination.
Mayer loads up on a big right hand but Bond slips the punch.
Mayer scores with a sloppy right hand. Bond should have avoided that one.
Bond ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mayer moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bond. Mayer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mayer pounces like a tiger and cracks Bond with a vicious hook! Bond is down but not out! Mayer follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jan Mayer!
