The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forester will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nelson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Forester shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nelson eats them both and turns towards Forester to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Nelson misses with a body kick.
A lazy left from Forester finds it's target.
Forester looks to throw the jab but Nelson is out of range.
Forester misses with a lunging right hand
and Nelson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Forester's knee momentarily.
Forester takes a swing at Nelson's ribcage but misses.
Nelson just misses with a punch to the body.
Forester swings away with a body shot that misses
and Forester takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Forester slips under a jab.
Nelson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Edward Forester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Forester's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nelson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Forester scrambles back to his feet.

and Nelson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Nelson connects with a leg kick. Forester looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Forester lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Forester throws a leg kick but Nelson sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Nelson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Forester sees it coming and avoids it easily.

A solid leg kick lands there for Nelson.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No joy there for Forester, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Forester rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Nelson to counter with a crisp jab.
Nelson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Forester.
Nelson throws a head kick that Forester semi-blocks.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Forester tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nelson was well out of range. Poor timing from Forester.

Nelson throws a sloppy head kick and Forester moves out of range easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Byron Nelson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Forester throws a hook to the side of Nelson's head but Nelson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Forester misses with a hook. Nelson ducked under it nicely.
Forester works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sloppy strikes from Nelson. Those never looked like landing.
Nelson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Forester throws a lazy right hand but Nelson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Nelson lands with a slapping head kick.
Forester is rocked!
Nelson knocks out Forester with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Nelson before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Nelson picks up the big W with a huge KO!
