Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Baum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Second Dag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baum comes to the cage accompanied by The largest nuclear explosion. Adam Baum could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Second Dag's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adam Baum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Second Dag! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dag shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Dag throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Baum works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dag postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dag cracks Baum with a solid left hand.
It looks like Adam Baum has been cut. Dag really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dag preventing the sweep. Dag got a little sloppy there for a moment and Baum has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dag has managed to get both his arms back between Baum's legs - danger averted. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dag is working Baum over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dag postures up in Baum's guard and throws a big left but Baum blocks it. Baum working for a triangle but Dag defends it easily.

Dag is working Baum over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Baum is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dag pulls Baum in close to his closed guard and prevents Baum from doing any damage or advancing position. Baum tries to free his leg and advance position but Dag is retaining full guard. Baum trying to control the position from guard on top but Dag is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Baum is looking to work some ground and pound but Dag has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dag keeping moving, preventing Baum from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Adam Baum. Sloppy strikes from Baum. Those never looked like landing. A combination from Baum does no damage. Dag shoots in but Baum avoids the takedown attempt easily. A shot to the liver by Baum. Beautiful body shot. Dag shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dag was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Baum can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dag lands a nice shot to the head. Baum is looking to get to half guard. Dag working the ground and pound effectively.
Dag throwing strikes here but Baum is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Baum bucks Dag off and manages to get back to his feet! No joy there for Baum, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baum lands a jab-cross combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dag fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Baum avoids it really well and circles away. Adam Baum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Baum punishes Dag's body with a nice straight punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baum misses with a double jab.
Dag tries to score a power double leg takedown but Baum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dag somewhat. Adam Baum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Second Dag. Dag feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Baum has momentary wrist control but Dag slips an elbow through the middle.
Adam Baum's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Baum will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dag lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dag throws an elbow that misses. Baum uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dag's guard. Nice move by Baum! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Second Dag will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Adam Baum's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dag misses with a takedown attempt and Baum counters with a leg kick. Baum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dag. Baum lands a leg kick that knocks Dag off balance momentarily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dag. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dag crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Baum - the referee stops the clock and Dag gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Baum. Dag manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Dag is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Baum's half guard. Baum looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Baum wants to control but Dag is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baum is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dag scores with a couple of nice shots. Second Dag has got the better of the ground game so far. Dag thows an elbow strike that misses. Baum gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Dag doesn't seem too bothered but Baum quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Dag is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Dag really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
