Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herschel Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Ferrigno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lou Ferrigno was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Herschel Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lou Ferrigno!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ferrigno swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Walker wants to clinch up but Ferrigno keeps it at a distance.
Herschel Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker is looking to clinch but Ferrigno is avoiding it.
Ferrigno will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ferrigno closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Walker did well to prevent Ferrigno getting side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ferrigno not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Ferrigno is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ferrigno looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Ferrigno stops Walker from getting back to his feet.

Ferrigno looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Ferrigno is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ferrigno seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Walker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Walker keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Ferrigno is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Walker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ferrigno.
Ferrigno is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Ferrigno working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Walker looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Ferrigno! Submission of the night perhaps?
