The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiwatowski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Luiz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wiwatowski is in Luiz's guard.
Luiz wants to sweep here but Wiwatowski controlling him for the moment.

Luiz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Wiwatowski stacks Luiz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Wiwatowski!
Wiwatowski could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Wiwatowski rolls with it to try and escape but Luiz cranks on the arm and Wiwatowski is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

After the fight, Thiago Luiz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
