Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jowell Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chayo Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Lil Jon ft Swizz Beats - I DO. Huerta is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gold Metal. Chayo Huerta will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez looks for a takedown but Huerta sprawls well.

Rodriguez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Huerta tries to avoid it but Rodriguez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Huerta to the ground. Huerta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rodriguez fails to land the takedown.
Huerta stalks Rodriguez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rodriguez's face. Rodriguez staggers backwards, shaken.
Huerta throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rodriguez.
Jowell Rodriguez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Huerta tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
