8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thiago Paxio! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Njokuani clinches up against the ropes. Njokuani is trying to push Paxio away but Paxio has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Njokuani is looking to break free of the clinch but Paxio has double underhooks. Njokuani is trying to break free. Njokuani tries to circle away but Paxio has him pinned against the ropes. Njokuani really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Paxio has hold of one of Njokuani's legs. Njokuani is fighting the takedown attempt but Paxio gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Njokuani wants to get back to his feet but Paxio is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Paxio thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Paxio wants to pass the guard but Njokuani is keeping the position. Paxio slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Paxio wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Njokuani, who protects the arm well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Paxio advances nicely into full mount. Njokuani is controlling an arm, preventing Paxio from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

It looks like he might have it! Njokuani tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Paxio cranks the arm and Njokuani screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Njokuani, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
