The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galea checks a leg kick nicely.
Galea fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Galea dodges the punch combination from Quick.
Galea shoots in and drives through. Quick sprawls well.

Quick shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Quick showed some decent athleticism there.

Quick must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Quick stands and steps away. Galea gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Quick drops back looking for a leg! Galea is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Galea manages to kick Quick off! Quick jumps back into Galea's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Quick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Quick drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Galea dives on top into guard.
Galea could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Quick looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Galea passes into side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Quick misses with a series of wild punches.
